The Website Development Process
Wireframe
A wire frame will be developed for your website that will define the structure and flow of your site. It defines the information hierarchy and allows for changes to be made before the site goes into the development stage. A strategic plan is developed that takes into account the user and your goals and objectives. This will give you a map of your site with an example of how the pages will be arranged.
Prototype
A prototype is then created. A prototype is a “proof of concept” to see how the website is going to function in the browser. This offers the opportunity to see how users might interact with it. After this is completed and any adjustments are made, we can begin the design process.
Design
At this stage the visual design is developed. Colors are chosen and the design guidelines are selected such as typeface, visual elements. and the best content delivery system. Everything about your website should reinforce your brand so visual elements and imagery are designed to be complementary.
Development
The approval design is then developed into a working WordPress website. The pages are created following the plan outlined in our proposal. The functionality of the website is developed such as contact forms, blogs, and other interactive elements.
Content Population
At this stage your content and images are added to the website so that it is a fully functioning website.
Testing
The features and functionality of the website are tested before the final launch. Once you have approved the site it will go live.
Launch
Your website is launched after it has been moved to it's final destination on the server and can be found under your domain.
